A cute original textured acrylic painting, made on a mini canvas that was coated in an isolation coat with a glossy sheen, also included with the canvas is a matching easel that has been painted with acrylic ink.
Using deep blues and drip techniques with acrylic ink for the easel, it created a contrasting stand that compliments the painting. This painting is a depiction of the desire for oceanic exploration, taking in the sights and smelling the salty air. Different brush techniques were used to create the waves.. The boats were made using layers of both vibrant and muted colours.
The measurements are 7cm x 9cm for the mini canvas and the easel's are 13cm in length and 9cm across.

For the easel, drip techniques were used to apply red and bronze acrylic inks. The painting was inspired by beautiful butterflies, the setting sun bathing the sky in orange, and the sparkling stars far beyond.
